How Lawyers Get Clients From Instagram by Answering These 5 Objections

how lawyers get clients from instagram

I was working with a lawyer whose content looked great on paper. Polished photos, consistent posting, good engagement. But her DMs were quiet and discovery calls were going nowhere.

When I audited her content, the problem was obvious: she was never addressing the real questions her potential clients were sitting with before they even reached out. They weren't ready to book because her content never made them feel ready.

That's when I started mapping out the exact objections high-value clients need answered before they hire a professional service provider — especially lawyers.

In This Post I'll Cover

The 5 objections your potential legal clients are silently holding, and exactly how to answer each one through your content so they arrive ready to hire you.

Step 1: Address Cost and Outcome Concerns

Two of the biggest objections are tied together: Is this worth the money? and Will it actually work for my situation?

The way you answer this in content isn't by listing your rates — it's by making the stakes undeniable.

Knowing what your marriage agreement should or should not say is as important as choosing what dress to wear for your wedding... it can save your future you from losing your business, your safety, or even your kids' heritage.

When your content helps them feel the cost of not hiring you, the price of hiring you becomes irrelevant.

Step 2: Build Trust Through Proof and Process

Once they believe it's worth it, they need to believe you're the one for the job. Three objections live here:

"Have you handled cases like mine before?" Show what typically happens in cases like theirs — or cases like the one they could be facing. Let them see themselves in your work.

"Will they actually care about my case?" Pull back the curtain. Share your thinking process. Why did you take a particular approach? What did you notice that others might have missed? This is how trust is built before a single call happens.

"How much of my time will this require?" Show a real timeline from a past client's experience. Add the percentage of how often that timeline repeats across your cases. It removes the fear of the unknown.

Step 3: Walk Them Through What Hiring You Actually Look Like

The final objection — "I don't understand how this works" — is the one most lawyers skip. And it's costing them clients.

Map out the exact steps from the moment someone fills out your form or joins your service. What happens first? What happens next? When do they hear from you?

Clarity creates confidence. Confidence creates action.

Objections aren't obstacles, they're the roadmap your content should be following and when you answer them consistently, your potential clients don't just understand why they need a lawyer — they understand why they need you.
